Saturday 30-05-2026
German Kai Havertz became the ninth player in the history of the Champions League to score in more than one final of the tournament, following his goal with Arsenal against Paris Saint-Germain in the current edition's final held in Budapest.

Havertz's first goal for Arsenal came just six minutes into the match, confirming his decisive presence in final matches, having previously scored with Chelsea in the 2020/2021 Champions League final against Manchester City.

According to the official website of the International Football Federation, Havertz has become one of the few players to have scored in more than one final in the tournament, and he is the third player to score in finals with two different teams.

Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player to have scored in three finals, having scored with Manchester United in 2007/2008, then with Real Madrid in 2013/2014 and 2016/2017.

The list of players who have scored in more than one Champions League final includes:

Cristiano Ronaldo "Manchester United 2007/2008, Real Madrid 2013/2014, 2016/2017".

Raul Gonzalez "Real Madrid 1999/2000, 2001/2002".

Samuel Eto'o "Barcelona 2005/2006, 2008/2009".

Lionel Messi "Barcelona 2008/2009, 2010/2011".

Sergio Ramos "Real Madrid 2013/2014, 2015/2016".

Mario Mandzukic "Bayern Munich 2012/2013, Juventus 2016/2017".

Gareth Bale "Real Madrid 2013/2014, 2017/2018".

Vinicius Junior "Real Madrid 2021/2022, 2023/2024".

Kai Havertz "Chelsea 2020/2021, Arsenal 2025/2026".

This achievement places Havertz among a rare list of players who have left their mark in more than one final of Europe's most prestigious club tournament.
