Beşiktaş Knocks on Al-Nassr's Doors to Sign Wesley

Friday 29-05-2026
The Turkish club Beşiktaş has initiated serious efforts to sign the Brazilian Wesley, a winger from Al-Nassr, as part of their plan to strengthen their under-23 team with outstanding young talents.

Press reports revealed that the Turkish club has indeed reached out to inquire about the player's status and the possibility of signing him during the upcoming transfer window.

Al-Nassr's management has given its initial approval to the idea of Wesley's departure, provided that the deal is made on a loan basis with an option for a permanent purchase.

The Saudi club is looking to give the player a new opportunity to regain his form after his performance declined last season.

Wesley joined Al-Nassr in the summer of 2024, coming from Brazilian club Corinthians for 18 million euros, with a contract extending until 2028.

The deal came at a time when there was interest from several European clubs, most notably Benfica, Sporting Lisbon, and the English club Everton.

The Brazilian player played 40 matches for Al-Nassr, during which he scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists.

Some reports suggest that moving to the Turkish league could give Wesley a new opportunity to regain his shine and return to his expected level.
