Wolverhampton Secures Free Transfer of Kieran Trippier

Reports have revealed, citing journalist Keith Downie from Sky Sports, that Wolverhampton has reached an agreement to sign the English full-back Kieran Trippier on a free transfer following the end of his contract with Newcastle.

According to the report, the 35-year-old player will sign a two-year contract with an option to extend for a third season, continuing his career in the Championship with Wolverhampton.

Trippier became available for free after spending four seasons with Newcastle, during which he contributed his extensive experience on the right side, both defensively and offensively.

The player is expected to undergo a medical examination upon his return from vacation next week, with the official announcement of the deal to be made later, as a new player for the Wolves team relegated to the Championship.
