Al-Ahly Renews Attempts to Retrieve Mohamed Abdelmonem
Al-Ahram portal reported that Al-Ahly's management is still trying to bring back Mohamed Abdelmonem, the former team player and current Nice player.
The portal clarified that Al Ahly renewed its contacts in the last few hours to seek Abdelmonem's opinion once again on the possibility of returning to the team next season.
She added that Al Ahly Club has offered a first-tier contract to defender Mohamed Abdelmonem to persuade him to return to the team, while simultaneously seeking to finalize negotiations with the French club Nice for an amount ranging between 1.5 and 2 million dollars.
Abdel Moneim joined French club Nice from Al Ahly in August 2024 for $4.3 million, in addition to an extra $1 million and 15% of any future resale value of the player.
