Cayode Ignites the Battle Between Milan, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain

Michael Cayode has become one of the most sought-after full-backs in European football after an outstanding season with Brentford, as clubs like Milan, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain have shown interest in signing the Italian international, despite significant obstacles that may hinder any potential deal.

According to 'Calcio Mercato', Brentford values the Italian player at between 35 and 40 million euros, a figure that presents a major challenge for both Milan and Juventus, especially since neither club will receive revenues from participating in the Champions League next season.

The English club had activated the option to purchase Cayode from Fiorentina for 17.5 million euros in the summer of 2025, and after his development into one of the standout young defenders in the Premier League, Brentford does not intend to let him go for a low price.

Additionally, Cayode's desire to remain in the English league represents the biggest obstacle for Italian league clubs.

However, the financial obstacle may not be the most important, as the player's own desire seems to be the most complicated factor in the negotiations.

Cayode prefers to continue in England and further his development in the Premier League, while a return to Italy is currently seen as only a backup option.

Reports also indicate that interest from Spanish and French league clubs appears more attractive to the Italian defender, with Paris Saint-Germain among the clubs that have expressed admiration for his capabilities.

As for Juventus, Cayode was considered an important target to meet UEFA's requirements regarding homegrown players, but convincing the player to leave England seems to be the toughest task.
