El-Wensh: Abdullah Al-Saeed is a Great Value and We Learn from Him

Mahmoud Hamdy El-Wensh, a Zamalek player, praised John Edward, the club's sporting director, and Abdullah Al-Saeed, the star of the White team.

Al-Wensh said in statements on "MBC Egypt" channel: "I cannot do justice to John Edward; the pressure he is under is enough. He is tasked with managing football at Zamalek, responsible for the team and all the details with both Egyptian and foreign players, and providing a good environment for the players to alleviate the pressure on them, which is certainly not easy."

He added: "John Edward has support in his mission from people like Abdel Nasser Mohamed and Abdel Rahman Ismail, in addition to Tito. However, he is responsible for everything. He discusses some matters with us, but ultimately, he makes the decision, and we later discover the extent of his competence."

He affirmed: "Abdullah Al-Saeed is of great value, and we learn from him. I am the second captain at Zamalek after Omar Gaber, but before making any decision, we involve Abdullah Al-Saeed with us. He is a player of great value, and we learn from him and observe what he does to reach where he has."

He concluded: "Abdullah Al-Saeed is beyond needing to wear the captain's armband, and in the final, we gave it to Mohamed Shehata. We don't care who wears the armband, but what we care about is that the team is in a stable environment, and Abdullah has a significant presence in the Zamalek dressing room."
