The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed that the Saudi club Al-Fateh is close to renewing the contract of the team's coach, Jose Gomes.
Al-Ghandour confirmed on the "Stad Al-Mahwar" program, citing a source inside Al-Fateh Club, that the club's management has reached a near-final agreement with Gomez regarding the renewal of his contract for an additional season.
He pointed out that Al-Fateh's management is committed to keeping coach Jose Gomez to maintain technical stability, following the team's good performance last season.
The source added that the Al-Fateh management has granted Gomez extensive authority to be the primary person responsible for the team's signings in the upcoming summer transfer window and to determine its needs for the new season.
