Dissatisfaction within Zamalek after Shehata's Exclusion from the National Team for the World Cup

The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed discontent within Zamalek's coaching staff due to the omission of the team's star, Mohamed Shehata, from the Pharaohs' squad list for the 2026 World Cup.

Ghandour explained, during his statements on the "Stad Al-Mehwar" program, that the members of Zamalek's technical staff were expecting Mohamed Shehata to join the national team roster, especially after his strong and consistent performance with the team in various local tournaments this season.

He confirmed that the player proved his technical and physical competence to represent the national team, which made the decision to exclude him surprising to the coaching staff.
