Alonso Requests 3 Deals at Chelsea
Press reports have stated that Spanish coach Xabi Alonso has already started outlining his new project with Chelsea, following the announcement of his four-year contract to lead the team in the upcoming phase.
According to the English website "CaughtOffside," Alonso has asked Chelsea's management to secure three major signings during the summer transfer window, with the aim of strengthening the squad and building a team capable of competing for titles.
The reports added that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, a player for Galatasaray, is considered the primary offensive target for the London club, while interest has been renewed in French goalkeeper Mike Maignan, a star at Milan, as well as Sporting Lisbon defender Ousmane Diomande to strengthen the defense line.
Sources indicate that Chelsea will indeed consider the coach's requests in the coming period, as part of a long-term project aimed at returning the team to winning platforms after seasons of fluctuating results.
