Chelsea Reassesses Goalkeeper Position

This shift comes as part of a new direction within Chelsea following the signing of Xabi Alonso, who requested the acquisition of a goalkeeper with extensive experience at the highest level, prompting the management to reconsider several options.

The club's list of interests includes the name of AC Milan's goalkeeper Mike Maignan, in addition to the English international goalkeeper Jordan Pickford of Everton, among several names the club is considering to strengthen this position.

Chelsea is also considering more than one option in the market as part of a plan to strengthen the goalkeeper position before the new season begins, with ongoing evaluation of the available candidates.
