Ghandour Supports Shehata After Zamalek's Confederation Cup Loss
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour supported Zamalek club star Mohamed Shehata after Zamalek lost the African Confederation Cup title.
Ghandour said on Facebook: "May God help Mohamed Shehata, who lost his father and missed the penalty kick. Please, football is not more important than our humanity. Support the player, and God willing, he will overcome this ordeal."
Zamalek lost the Confederation Cup title to Algeria's USM Alger in a penalty shootout with a score of 8-7 after drawing both the home and away matches 1-1.
The Whites are preparing to face Ceramica Cleopatra next Wednesday in the seventh and final round of the Egyptian Premier League title decider.
