Zamalek Grants Mohamed Shehata the Captain's Armband in the Confederation Cup Final
The media personality Amir Hesham revealed that Zamalek is leaning towards giving Mohamed Shehata the captain's armband in the match against USM Alger this evening in the CAF Confederation Cup final.
Zamalek will face USM Alger this Saturday evening at the Cairo International Stadium in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final.
He said on his program Modern Sports on the Modern MTI channel: "It is very likely that Mohamed Shehata will wear the captain's armband for Zamalek in tomorrow's match, similar to what happened in the first leg in Algeria, as part of supporting and standing by him after the death of his father during the team's stay in Algeria, and his participation in the match."
He added, "We hope that Shehata will lift the championship cup, and it would be the best tribute to him after he participated in the first leg despite the passing of his father."
