The French star Ousmane Dembélé was crowned the Best Player in the French League for the second consecutive time during the UNFP awards ceremony, after surpassing his Paris Saint-Germain teammates Nuno Mendes and Vitinha, as well as Florian Thauvin of Lens and Mason Greenwood of Olympique Marseille.

Paris Saint-Germain continued its dominance over the award, with its players consistently winning it since 2016. Meanwhile, Dembélé affirmed his status as one of the top stars of the competition, winning the award for the second consecutive time.

The 28-year-old player participated in only 20 league matches this season, during which he scored 10 goals and provided 6 assists, after suffering from some injuries and rest periods. He played 960 minutes compared to 1,736 minutes in the previous season, where he scored 21 goals and made 8 assists.

Nevertheless, Dembélé maintained his impressive statistics, as he is considered the most decisive player in the French league with a goal every 96 minutes, in addition to leading in offensive threat indicators in terms of expected goals and assists.

It is noted that Paris Saint-Germain star Désiré Doué was awarded the Best Young Player award for the second consecutive season as well.
