Al-Zawraa Announces Coach's Absence in Upcoming Al-Mina Match
Saturday 09-05-2026
Al-Zawraa Club officially announced the absence of its coach Luay Salah from the upcoming match against Al-Mina, after he suffered a back ailment that forced him to temporarily step away from leading the team.

The medical staff confirmed that the coach's health condition requires rest for at least a week to ensure his safety and give him enough time to complete his recovery phase before returning to his coaching duties.

Salah's absence comes at a critical time as Al-Zawraa prepares to face Al-Mina in an important round within its struggle for an advanced position in the Iraqi Stars League standings.

The young coach has been a strong presence in leading the team this season, successfully restoring some balance to the team after a period of technical fluctuations, making his absence a moral loss for the players before the match.

According to the club's statement, the assistant coaching staff will take on the task of leading the team in the Al-Mina match until the coach's return. The staff includes individuals who have worked closely with Salah throughout the season and have full knowledge of the play plan and tactical preparations.

The club management and players wished the coach a speedy recovery, emphasizing that his health comes first and that the coaching staff will work to compensate for his absence to ensure things proceed according to the set plan.

Salah, for his part, reassured the club's fans through close sources, confirming that the injury is not serious and that he will return soon to continue working with the team.
