TEAMtalk revealed that Arsenal has entered talks to sign Atalanta's Brazilian midfielder Ederson during the upcoming summer transfer window, amid competition from Liverpool, Manchester United, and Manchester City.
According to the report, Ederson was Atletico Madrid's main target to strengthen the midfield in recent weeks, and personal terms have already been agreed with the Brazilian international. However, negotiations between Atletico and Atalanta stalled due to a disagreement over the financial value of the deal.
The report indicated that Atletico Madrid refused to exceed 45 million euros to sign Ederson, while Atalanta insisted on receiving at least 50 million euros.
The same source confirmed that Ederson's agents have held talks with Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool over the past ten days, following the player's failed transfer to Atletico Madrid.
