Yannick Carrasco, the captain of the youth team, refrained from discussing the details of the crisis involving his teammate Abderrazak Hamdallah's exclusion from the squad for the recent match against Al-Nassr.

Hamdalallah was absent from the match due to a disciplinary decision made by the Algerian coach Nourredine Ben Zekri, which raised many questions within the sports community.

Al-Shabab lost the match against Al-Nassr with a score of four goals to two, in a game held as part of the 33rd round of the Saudi Roshan League for the 2025-2026 season.

Carrasco confirmed in a television interview that he does not have the authority to comment on administrative decisions related to his teammates, emphasizing his full respect for the decisions made by the coaching staff and club management.

The youth team captain added that his team performed well during the match, despite the loss, explaining that the performance was positive during many periods of the game.

He pointed out that the players tried to match Al-Nassr's strength and create real opportunities, but the result was not in their favor in the end.

The crisis of excluding Hamdallah remains open to speculation, in the absence of detailed official explanations regarding the reasons for the decision, which increases the debate among the team's fans.
