Reports, citing the British newspaper "The Sun," revealed that Manchester United does not intend to reintegrate their player Marcus Rashford into the first team next season, amid ongoing doubts about his future.

According to the report, there is uncertainty surrounding the player's future, especially as FC Barcelona is unsure about activating the clause to purchase his contract for 30 million euros, which would convert his current loan into a permanent deal.

The report noted that Rashford recently drew attention on his account on the "X" platform after he reposted an official Manchester United post announcing their return to the Champions League. He then commented on it with the word "Congratulations" accompanied by an emoji, marking his first interaction with the club in about a year.

The newspaper confirmed that Manchester United officials still want to sell the player, whose salary will increase to £325,000 per week starting next July, after the team qualified for the Champions League.

In the same context, reports indicated that Rashford, who is 28 years old, does not prefer to return to his club after difficult years he spent there. He also removed any reference to Manchester United from his social media accounts.

The player is under contract with Manchester United until 2028, while coach Michael Carrick had previously indicated that the player's future has not yet been decided, affirming that the final decision will be made at the appropriate time.

Rashford participated in 46 matches with Barcelona this season, during which he scored 13 goals, but he did not start in the last five matches.
