Flick: Happy with the Team and the Victory, Focus on Work, Not What Will Happen Tomorrow
Sunday 03-05-2026
Hans Flick, the head coach of Barcelona, spoke after his team's victory over Osasuna at El Sadar Stadium, expressing his happiness with the team's performance and their focus on what lies ahead.

Flick said: "I'm very happy with the team, the club, and the fans. It was a very tough match, especially in the first half."

He continued: "The second half was better, the substitutions were due to Gavi receiving a yellow card, and with Rashford, we were looking for speed."

He added: "We have done our job, and now Real Madrid must play against Espanyol first, and if we win, we will celebrate."

He continued: "Do I feel that we are champions? Not yet, it's not the right time. We should wait until tomorrow or next week. The team did a good defensive job and I am very happy with that."

Regarding watching the Real Madrid match, he said: "I won't watch tomorrow's match, I'm not interested in these things. The important thing was winning today, not what happens tomorrow. The most important thing is doing the work, and if we win, we'll celebrate. It doesn't matter when the title is achieved."

He added, "We have dealt with many injuries, and it is a young team with great potential."

He concluded his remarks by saying: "I don't know where I will celebrate. We are in a good position, and when the time comes, it will happen. If I don't watch the match, I might go with my wife to see the magic show."
