Al Wahda Club was crowned the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup champion for the 2025-2026 season, after an exciting victory over rivals Al Ain in a penalty shootout in the final held in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.

The final match was extremely balanced, with regular time ending in a goalless draw, highlighted by the excellent performances of both goalkeepers and strong defensive discipline.

The teams went directly to a penalty shootout, which favored Al Wahda with a 4-2 result, thanks to goalkeeper Zayed Al Hammadi, who saved two crucial attempts, leading his team to the podium.
