Sultan Adil responds officially and settles the controversy over the insult to Al-Ain
Sultan Adil, the striker for Shabab Al-Ahli, clarified the altercation that occurred between him and Alejandro Kaku, a player for Al-Ain, during the recent match between the two teams. Adil pointed out that the exchanges and gestures were an individual act directed solely at the player himself, emphasizing that the matter did not go beyond this fleeting scope, with no other dimensions to the disagreement.
Sultan Adil confirmed in a special interview with 'Sports Event' that his actions on the pitch were a direct reaction to behavior exhibited by Al-Ain's Kaku. The Shabab Al-Ahli forward emphasized that the disagreement was purely personal and remained entirely within the confines of the pitch, denying any other backgrounds or dimensions behind the incident.
Shabab Al-Ahli's striker denied any intention to belittle Al-Ain or its fans, stating: "I did not mean Al-Ain or its supporters at all."
He continued: "Al-Ain is a big club with its name and rich history in Emirati and Asian football, and all respect and appreciation goes to this institution and its fans."
The player was keen to clear the air quickly, apologizing to Alejandro Kaku immediately after the final whistle. With this step, both parties completely closed the chapter on their disagreement, keeping the incident confined to the pitch without any repercussions.
