Cancellation of Al-Ain press conference due to coach's absence
The absence of Serbian Vladimir Ivic, head coach of Al-Ain, and player Giorgos Giakoumakis led to the cancellation of the press conference scheduled for today at the Ittihad Club ahead of the anticipated AFC Champions League clash between the two teams.
The press representatives were waiting for Al-Ain's coach and player to attend the conference, but their absence prevented it from taking place, with no reasons given for their non-attendance.
The press conference was cancelled after the federation concluded its press conference for the match, attended by coach Jens Vossing and player Mukhtar Ali, to discuss the team's preparations for the encounter.
Al-Ittihad host their Emirati counterpart Al-Ain on Monday evening at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, as part of the fourth round of the league stage in the west zone of the AFC Champions League Elite.
The match is attracting significant public interest as both teams aim to achieve a positive result in their continental journey, especially since the encounter represents an important milestone in the AFC Champions League Elite.
