Simeone Inzaghi, the coach of Al Hilal Club, has requested the return of João Cancelo in the upcoming period, rejecting the idea of his permanent departure from the team.

The Italian coach expressed his insistence on keeping the Portuguese full-back in his plans for the next season, especially after the struggles the team faced in the right-back position during the current season's competitions.

A report from Abola newspaper indicated that Inzaghi is preparing a technical report for the management, which includes the necessity of quickly bringing Cancelo back and supporting him as a main option in the lineup.

The same sources confirmed that FC Barcelona is relying on the player's desire to continue, as they are looking to keep him permanently after the current loan period ends.

The report added that Al Hilal's management will not easily let go of the player, as they are demanding 15 million euros if the Catalan club insists on buying out the remainder of his contract.

It is noted that Cancelo moved to Barcelona during the last winter transfer window on loan from Al Hilal, following a full agreement between the two parties regarding financial and contractual details.
