Press reports have revealed that Barcelona is considering the option of signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Gonçalo Ramos as an alternative plan if the deal for Julián Álvarez from Atlético Madrid fails during the summer transfer window.

According to sources, any deal to sign Ramos could be worth around 30 million euros, which Barcelona considers a suitable option, especially given the financial problems the club is facing.

Julian Alvarez is considered Barcelona's top target this summer to strengthen their attacking line. However, negotiations appear complicated due to high financial demands on one hand, and Atletico Madrid's insistence on keeping the player as a key element in their future project.

The reports indicated that the difficulty in completing the Alvarez deal prompted the Catalan club to consider other attacking alternatives, with Ramos at the forefront, in anticipation of any setbacks in the negotiations. The club is also interested in signing Victor Osimhen from Galatasaray.
