The Future of Gordon with Newcastle: Increasing European Interest Before Summer
Tuesday 28-04-2026
The future of Anthony Gordon, Newcastle United's star, is becoming increasingly uncertain as the summer transfer window approaches, with interest from Bayern Munich and Chelsea, along with monitoring from Arsenal, according to "The Athletic" newspaper.

The newspaper explained that Newcastle has become more open to selling the player as part of a plan to restructure the team and fund new deals, emphasizing that the club will not let him go except for a suitable price that could reach around 80 million pounds, especially with a clause granting Everton 15% of the sale profits.

Bayern Munich's interest is serious, as they consider Gordon as an option to strengthen the wing, while Chelsea is monitoring the player as part of a plan to sign players with Premier League experience. On the other hand, Liverpool does not plan to revive their previous interest, despite a failed deal between the two parties in 2024.

Gordon has not requested to leave yet, but his future could be affected by the team's stance on qualifying for the Champions League, while Newcastle's management affirms its commitment to its long-term project.
