The Belgian coach Vincent Kompany, the manager of Bayern Munich, spoke about the future of his player Michael Olise, amidst interest from Liverpool in signing him. He also discussed several technical matters ahead of the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain.

Kompany said, "I previously mentioned that I do not comment on my superiors' statements, but I can talk about Michael Olise."

He added: "What Michael has shown so far demonstrates his quality, and we must not forget that this is his first match in the Champions League semi-finals, and he has only been playing at the highest level for 18 months."

He continued: "I see through his behavior that he is capable of developing and is eager to do so. I hope he continues to give his best, even in matches like tomorrow's encounter, as he has the potential to become a top-class player for a long time."

He added: "He is extremely detail-oriented and does things his own way. I worked with Kevin De Bruyne, and he was the same. I see this passion in Michael; he loves joking with his teammates, but when it comes to work, he is highly focused and has the perfect mindset."

The Bayern Munich coach discussed the development of Harry Kane's performance with the team.

He said: "In England, Harry Kane was regarded as an exceptional goal scorer, and no one doubted his ability to finish attacks and lead the team."

He added: "But now we see other qualities like his football intelligence, and we can appreciate that more. Perhaps it wasn't fully appreciated there. He's like fine wine that gets better with time, and I enjoy this aspect of his performance."

He also spoke about Serge Gnabry's situation, despite his injury, and his travel with the team to Paris.

Kompany explained: "Serge is a key player for us and plays an important role within the team. He brings together different cultures in the locker room, and it was his decision to travel with us, which we always welcome."

Kompany emphasized the importance of giving Jamal Musiala time.

Kompany concluded his remarks by saying: "He is performing well, and that's part of football. For players like Jamal, playing is the solution to everything. There's no need to worry; he should continue as he has been recently, and I will give him more time. He can play an important role, but we also have other players capable of making a difference."
