Amorim's Position on Returning to Coaching
The Portuguese newspaper "A Bola" revealed that Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim decided to take a year off after being dismissed from managing Manchester United on January 5th.
The newspaper confirmed that Amorim is not considering embarking on a new experience at the current time, as he plans to use this break to develop himself technically and work on returning stronger in his next venture.
She added that the Portuguese coach prioritizes continuing to coach outside of Portugal, rejecting the idea of returning to the Portuguese league, despite his previous successes with Sporting Lisbon and his good relationship with Benfica.
Manchester United announced last January the dismissal of Amorim from his position due to the team's declining results during his tenure as head coach. It is worth noting that Michael Carrick is currently managing the Red Devils.
