Bayern Munich secured an exciting 4-3 victory over Mainz in the match held as part of the 31st round of the German Bundesliga, at the Opel Arena.

Mainz opened the scoring in the 15th minute through Dominik Kohr, before Paul Nebel added the second goal in the 29th minute, and then Sheraldo Becker extended the lead with a third goal in the 45+2 minute.

In the second half, Bayern Munich succeeded in making a comeback, scoring the first goal in the 54th minute through Nicolas Jackson. Michael Olise added the second goal in the 73rd minute, followed by Jamal Musiala scoring the third in the 81st minute, and Harry Kane completed the comeback with the fourth goal in the 83rd minute.

With this result, Bayern Munich increased their tally to 82 points at the top of the German league standings, while Mainz remained at 34 points in tenth place.

Bayern Munich was crowned the Bundesliga champion in the previous round after defeating Stuttgart 4-2.
