Al-Ahli Jeddah Qualifies for the AFC Champions League Final

Al-Ahli Jeddah secured its qualification to the final of the Asian Champions League for the elite, after defeating Japan's Vissel Kobe 2-1 in the semi-final match.

The match began with the Japanese team taking the lead, as player Muto opened the scoring in the 31st minute of the first half, following a pass from his teammate Osaka, who later received a yellow card in the 38th minute.

Al-Ahli Jeddah tried to come back in the score before the end of the first half, intensifying their offensive pressure, and came close to equalizing after a powerful shot by Rayan Hamed hit the post in the 45th minute, ending the first half with Vissel Kobe leading by one goal to nil.

In the second half, the performance of the Saudi team changed, and they managed to get back into the game after Galeno scored the equalizer in the 62nd minute, benefiting from a pass by Enzo Melot.

It took only a few minutes for Ivan Toney to add the second goal in the 70th minute, giving Al-Ahli Jeddah the lead and turning the course of the match.

Riyad Mahrez scored a third goal in the 76th minute, but the referee disallowed it after consulting the video assistant referee, leaving the score unchanged.

The referee blew the final whistle, announcing Al-Ahli Jeddah's 2-1 victory, securing their spot in the final match. They now await the winner of the match between Machida and Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai, scheduled to take place tomorrow, Tuesday, at 6:15 PM Cairo time.
