Boca Juniors secured a valuable victory over their traditional rival River Plate in the Superclásico derby, as part of the 15th round of the Apertura tournament, by defeating them 1-0 at the "Monumental" stadium.

The only goal of the match came from Leandro Paredes via a penalty kick, granting his team an important victory and ending River Plate's unbeaten streak under their coach Eduardo Coudet.

With this victory, Boca Juniors continued their positive results, extending their unbeaten streak to 13 consecutive matches across various competitions, including the local league, the Argentine Cup, and the Copa Libertadores, clearly demonstrating the team's technical stability.

The team, led by coach Claudio Ubeda, holds third place in Group A with 24 points, while River Plate remains at 26 points in second place in Group B.
