Al-Zawraa Club brings good news to its fans by announcing the return of star midfielder Mohammed Qasim to the team's group training, after recovering from the injury that kept him off the field since the match against Al-Karma.

Mohammed Qasim missed three consecutive matches for Al-Zawraa against Zakho, Al-Shorta, and Al-Karkh due to the injury he sustained during the Al-Karma match in round 26. His absence was felt in the 'Nawaris' midfield, although the team managed to secure two consecutive wins against Al-Shorta 2-1 and Al-Karkh 3-0, and drew with Zakho.

Qasim's return comes at an ideal time for the technical staff led by Luay Salah, who will benefit from his services.

The player is considered one of Al-Zawraa's standout stars this season and a midfield dynamo due to his ability to connect the lines, create plays, and score.

The club announced the player's return through an official statement posted on its social media accounts, stating: 'Look who’s back to work. Nawaris star Mohammed Qasim lights up the skies of Al-Shaljiya.'

Al-Zawraa currently holds fifth place with 54 points and aspires to secure a spot in the top four. Qasim's presence in the remaining five rounds will enhance the team's offensive strength and provide greater support from the back for forwards Ibrahim Tomiwa, Mo’ammal Abdul Redha, and Hassan Abdul Karim.
