Juventus has entered the race to sign young defender Samson Baidoo, one of the standout stars of the French league this season with Lens, according to the Italian newspaper Tuttosport.

The 21-year-old player has caught attention with his strong performance, prompting several European clubs like Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Aston Villa to closely follow him, amid great praise comparing him to big stars like Raphael Varane and Kalidou Koulibaly.

Juventus management, led by Damien Comolli, holds a strong card in this matter, represented by their good relationship with agent Misa N'Diaye, who also manages files for players within the club. This relationship may facilitate future negotiations, especially amidst the fierce competition for the player.

In a related context, Juventus is close to activating the clause to permanently purchase Jeremie Boga, after the technical staff led by Luciano Spalletti was convinced of his level and impact.

The deal is considered profitable for the club, as its value is only about 4.8 million euros, with the player expected to sign a contract extending for three or four years.
