After Appointing Carnevali.. Will Juventus Reopen the File for Vlahović's Contract Renewal?

Juventus Club has started a new phase at the administrative level with Giovanni Carnevali assuming the position of CEO, a step that could directly impact the future of Serbian striker Dušan Vlahović within the team.

The Italian newspaper 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' reported that Carnevali intends to reopen the file for Vlahović's contract renewal, whose association with Juventus ends at the end of June, after negotiations stalled in the past period.

The previous administration failed to reach an agreement with the Serbian striker, despite offering a deal that included an annual salary of 6 million euros plus bonuses, leaving the player's future open to all possibilities.

Vlahović is among the highest-paid players on the team, having received 12 million euros including incentives during his last season with Juventus, while Kenan Yildiz is poised to become the highest-paid within the club next season with an annual salary of 7 million euros, should the Serbian striker depart.

The potential resumption of negotiations comes amid Juventus' desire to settle the file of one of its prominent players before the new season kicks off, either by reaching a new agreement or making a final decision regarding his future.

'La Gazzetta dello Sport' added that the club continues to monitor several attacking options in the transfer market, including Alexander Sørloth and Randal Kolo Muani.
