Mohamed Salah: I Hope to Bid Farewell to the Team in a Proper Way, and This Feeling is Wonderful
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah appeared in press statements, following the 2-1 victory over Everton, as part of the 33rd round of the English Premier League, in the match held at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Salah spoke about scoring a goal in his last Merseyside derby match: "It's a great feeling. The most important thing was helping the team regain its balance and feel more confident. We knew before the game that it would be tough, and I'm happy we managed to win it."
He concluded: "I hope to continue scoring and help the team win the Champions League title this season. I hope to bid farewell to the team in a proper way."
The Egyptian star is set to leave Liverpool at the end of the current season on a free transfer, even though his contract was supposed to end in the summer of 2027.
