The case of Kuwaiti professional Eid Al-Rashidi with the Air Force Club has entered a new phase, after the Kuwaiti national team player expressed his readiness to end the contractual relationship with the 'Falcons' amicably, while at the same time confirming his intention not to return to represent the team leading the Iraq Stars League.

Al-Rashidi, who is the first Kuwaiti player to play professionally in the Iraq Stars League, clarified his position on the current crisis with the Air Force management, saying: 'I do not intend to return to play with the Iraqi Air Force team for several reasons that I cannot mention at the moment, but I am fully prepared to resolve the current issue between me and the club's management amicably and in a manner that preserves the rights of both parties.'

The player has shown good levels with the Air Force since joining and participated in several of the team's matches during the current season before his journey was halted due to recent developments in the region.

On the other hand, a source within the Air Force Club revealed that Eid Al-Rashidi has indeed contacted the club's management in recent days and informed them of his apology for not completing the season and not returning to play with the first team. The source confirmed that the player expressed his desire to terminate the contract amicably and officially end the relationship.

The Air Force management considered Al-Rashidi's departure from Iraq at the request of the Kuwaiti embassy in Baghdad following the outbreak of the recent war in the region as a breach of the official contract between the two parties. The management studied the possibility of filing an official complaint against the player with the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) to preserve the club's legal rights.

However, Al-Rashidi, according to those close to him, is striving hard to avoid reaching FIFA's corridors out of fear for his football career and to avoid any sanctions that could affect his professional future. Therefore, he initiated direct communication with the Air Force management to resolve the dispute amicably.

Indications suggest that the coming week may witness the official announcement of the amicable resolution of the dispute between Al-Rashidi and the Air Force. Iraqi and Kuwaiti parties have intervened to mediate and bring the player's and the 'Falcons' management's views closer, aiming to resolve the issue amicably without resorting to the International Federation.

The Air Force currently tops the Iraq Stars League standings with 66 points and is preparing for crucial matches in the title race during the remaining six rounds. The management believes that quickly resolving the Al-Rashidi issue will provide the team with administrative and technical stability before entering the final stretches of the season.
