Major General Ashraf Nassar, President of Al-Ahly Bank Club, confirmed that Sayed Abdel Hafeez was the one who finalized the transfer deal of Amr Al-Jazzar to Al-Ahly in the last winter transfer window.

Nassar said on the 'Number One' program on 'CBC' channel: 'I have a very strong relationship with Al-Ahly Club, and there is constant communication and mutual appreciation with Captain Mahmoud El-Khatib.'

He continued: 'The deal for Amr Al-Jazzar's transfer to the Red Castle was finalized for 60 million pounds, in addition to the loan of player Ahmed Reda for 6 months, and it was Captain Sayed Abdel Hafeez who finalized all the details of the deal for Al-Ahly and he was the one who spoke with me alongside Walid Salah El-Din.'

He concluded: 'So far, Al-Ahly Club has not requested the return of Ahmed Reda at the end of the season, and matters are still under study, and we at Al-Ahly Bank management put the interest of our club above all considerations, and we do not look at the inclinations of some, whether they are (Ahly fans or Zamalek fans).'
