Shobeir Sends an Important Message to Zamalek Fans
The media personality and former Al Ahly star, Ahmed Shobeir, directed an important message to Zamalek fans.
Zamalek will face Chabab Belouizdad tomorrow, Friday, in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.
In a radio statement, Shobier said: "The match between Zamalek and Belouizdad is tomorrow at Cairo Stadium at 6 PM, and the officials have asked the fans to arrive early from 2 PM. As a fan, you can bring your drum and your flag, but please avoid bringing any prohibited items."
He continued: "Please, everyone, we don't want any problems. What happened to Al Ahly against Tunisian Esperance, losing their fans in the return match, is enough for us. Our fans protect us, especially since the next match is the final. So if the referee blows a whistle you don't like, hold yourself back. If the assistant referee raises a flag you don't agree with, hold yourself back. If VAR calls someone and you don't know why, hold yourself back. Let the day pass peacefully."
He added: "I'm telling the Zamalek fans from now, whether VAR calls or doesn't call, it's none of your concern at all because the next match is the Confederation Cup final. Hopefully, there will be a celebration, as this is the only tournament left for Egyptian teams this year."
