Al Ahly's Stance on Akram Tawfik's Return
Farag Amer, the former president of Smouha Club, revealed Al Ahly's position on Akram Tawfik's return to the red team's ranks once again.
Farag Amer stated on Facebook: "Al Ahly refuses the return of Akram Tawfik, even if he moves to Pyramids or Zamalek. He left Al Ahly in an inappropriate manner, delayed renewing his contract to leave for free, lost his place in the national team, and will not go to the World Cup."
He added: "By the way, Akram Tawfik played for a short period in 2011 as a junior at Smouha when his brother Abdel Aziz Tawfik was playing there, and both are great talents."
Al Ahly is currently preparing to face Pyramids on Monday, April 27, in a match as part of the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League title playoffs.
