Approaching Completion of a Swap Deal Between Al Ahly and Al Shamal Qatar
Qatari press reports have revealed the nearing completion of a swap deal between Egypt's Al Ahly and Qatar's Al Shamal during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Qatari newspaper "Al-Arab" reported that Al-Ahly has contacted Al-Shamal of Qatar to bring back Akram Tawfik, the former player of the Red team.
According to the newspaper, the north agreed to let Akram Tawfik leave in exchange for acquiring the services of Tunisian Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, a player for Al-Ahly.
Reports indicated that Akram Tawfik is close to leaving Al-Shamal Club due to not playing as a starter and being excluded from the plans of Spanish coach David Brights.
