Al-Ittihad team secured a valuable victory against Al-Hazm with a score of one to zero in the match that brought them together on Friday evening as part of the 27th round of the Saudi Roshan League.

The match was held at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah, where Al-Ittihad entered the game with a strong lineup set by Portuguese coach Sergio Conceição.

In the 34th minute, a significant turning point occurred when Moussa Diaby was sent off following a strong tackle on Al-Hazm player Abdulrahman Al-Dakheel, leaving Al-Ittihad to continue the match with ten players.

The first half ended in a goalless draw, with a lackluster performance from Al-Ittihad, who were unable to pose any real threat to their opponent's goal.

In the second half, Conceição made several changes that restored balance to the team, allowing Al-Ittihad to start appearing more effective offensively.

Abdulrahman Al-Aboud succeeded in scoring the only goal of the match in the 72nd minute, benefiting from an excellent pass by Houssem Aouar, which put him in front of the goal to slot the ball into the net.

Despite being outnumbered, the team showed great defensive resilience and managed to maintain their lead until the final whistle, securing three important points.

With this victory, Al-Ittihad raised its tally to 45 points, placing them in sixth position, while Al-Hazm's tally remained at 31 points, placing them in eleventh position.
