Al-Zawraa Club announced the return of defender Abdullah Nasib and midfielder Amer Jamous to team training after their participation with the Jordanian national team in the recent preparatory window, at an ideal time before facing Al-Karma tomorrow evening, Saturday, in the 26th round of the Iraqi Stars League at Al-Zawraa Stadium in Baghdad at 7:30 PM.

The duo's participation with the 'Nashama' came as part of a preparatory program that included two strong friendlies; Nasib played a full match against Nigeria and delivered a solid defensive performance, while Jamous came on as a substitute in the 86th minute to add vitality in the final third. In the second friendly against Costa Rica, Nasib repeated his starting presence and played the entire match, while Jamous participated again from the bench, entering in the 89th minute.

Nasib's return provides the coaching staff with an important option in the heart of the defense, whether to enhance solidity in aerial balls or to organize the ball's exit under pressure, as the team prepares for a crucial match against a direct competitor for top positions.

As for Jamous, despite his limited minutes with the national team, he returns with the rhythm of international matches, raising his mental and physical readiness and providing the coach with a card capable of energizing the midfield and linking the lines in critical minutes.

Al-Zawraa enters the Al-Karma match ranked 5th with 46 points, coming off a 1-1 draw with Erbil, and looks to regain the winning tone at home and widen the gap with Al-Karma to 6 points.
