The appointment of Italian coach Roberto De Zerbi as the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur has sparked a significant wave of anger among the club's fans, particularly from the official supporters' association.

They also revealed that they had previously contacted the club's management to express their opposition to this decision.

De Zerbi had previously described Greenwood as a "good person" and said that he had "paid a big price," statements that reignited the controversy surrounding the player, who had previously faced serious charges before they were later dropped. These positions prompted other fan groups, such as women's associations and supporters of human rights, to strongly criticize the appointment.
