The Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo reported that Edin Terzić, the well-known German coach, is one of the leading candidates to coach Athletic Bilbao following the announcement of Ernesto Valverde's departure at the end of the current season.

However, Terzic made his position clear when he stated that he would not comment on rumors regarding his future, whether they are true or not, adding that he stopped discussing this type of speculation in the past and will not change that now.

The newspaper also mentioned that the current president, Jon Uriarte, announced the dates for the electoral process within the club, which may affect decisions regarding sports appointments. However, he has not yet revealed the name of the person who will accompany him in the upcoming project.
