Munoz: Thanks to Osasuna, and Clasico Criticisms Are Now in the Past
Saturday 28-03-2026
The Spanish national team star Victor Munoz appeared in a press statement following the 3-0 victory over the Serbian national team in the friendly international match held on Friday evening.

The player spoke about his first participation with the Spanish national team: "I am very grateful to my teammates and the coach. Everything went perfectly."

He added: "I try to work and develop daily to gain experience. This helps me refine my performance for the future."

He emphasized: "It's very easy to be among these players. They make things much easier for me. They have helped me from the very first moment."

He continued about recovering from the criticisms directed at him due to the missed opportunity in the Clasico last year when he was a Real Madrid player: "This is now in the past. It's part of the journey. No one reaches the top knowing everything; you have to go through tough times."

Regarding Ferran's decisive pass in the scene of his goal: "I was asking him for the pass. It was a difficult pass, but he saw me and was grateful for it."

He concluded: "What would you have thought if someone told you ten months ago that you would play your first international match with Spain? I was calm; it's just a matter of time before things become clear with continuity and hard work. This was beyond my control. But the credit also goes to Osasuna, for giving me the opportunity to play freely."
