Simon Bouabre, the Al Hilal player, sustained a sudden injury while playing for the France U21 team against Luxembourg, forcing him to leave the field early in the first half.

The incident raised concerns for Al Hilal's coaching staff, especially since the injury occurred while the player was attempting to retrieve the ball, causing him muscular pain that forced him to leave the match.

The physical therapy specialist, Thamer Al-Shahrani, explained that the injury appears to be muscular and the absence may not exceed 3 to 5 days if it is just a mild strain.

He pointed out that the worst-case scenario is a muscle tear, which could keep the player off the field for up to two weeks, depending on the severity of the injury and his response to treatment.

This injury comes at a very critical time, as Al Hilal is strongly competing on several fronts this season, most notably the Saudi League, the King's Cup, and the AFC Champions League for the elite.

Bouabri joined Al-Hilal during the last winter transfer window, coming from Neom Club, in a move to strengthen the team's attacking options.

The French player participated in 8 matches wearing the Al Hilal jersey since joining in February, but he has not scored or assisted any goals so far, making his absence an additional test of the team's capabilities.
