Firm Response from Bayern Munich President on Liverpool's Interest in Olise
The honorary president of Bayern Munich, Uli Hoeneß, responded to the rumors linking player Michael Olise with a move to Liverpool, affirming that the club will not let go of their French winger regardless of the financial offer.
Hoeneß said: "Liverpool spent 500 million euros this year and is having a very poor season, so we will not contribute to improving their situation next season."
He added: "Olyes will not be sold, even if the offer reaches 200 million euros. We play this game for our fans. We have 430,000 members and millions of supporters around the world, and having an extra 200 million in the bank won't benefit them much if we play worse football every week."
Hoeneß's statement confirms the commitment to the 24-year-old Bavarian player and reflects the club's strategy to retain its stars and build a team capable of competing both domestically and in Europe.
