Al-Ittihad Jeddah Renews Negotiations to Sign Mohamed Salah
Wednesday 25-03-2026
Al-Ittihad Jeddah has begun serious moves to contract with the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool winger, during the upcoming summer transfer window, as his departure from the 'Reds' approaches at the end of the current season.

According to what was mentioned by the 'ESPN' network, the club's management has reopened lines of communication with the player, in an attempt to convince him to embark on a new experience in the Saudi Professional League.

Al-Ittihad had made a massive offer in the summer of 2023 worth 150 million pounds sterling, but Liverpool's management refused to relinquish the services of their top star at that time.

Al-Ittihad's move comes as part of its effort to compensate for the departure of Karim Benzema, who left the team last January, by contracting with a global name of Mohamed Salah's caliber.

Al-Ittihad faces local competition from Saudi club Al-Qadsiah, which is currently the only club from the Saudi league interested in the deal, as Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, and Al-Ahli have not yet entered the race to contract with the player.
