Al-Khulood Eliminates Title Holder Al-Ittihad and Makes History in the King's Cup

The Saudi team achieved a remarkable feat by eliminating the Saudi Union from the semi-finals of the King's Cup after an exciting match.

The match ended in a 2-2 draw during regular and extra time, before being decided by a penalty shootout in favor of Al-Khulood with a score of 7-6.

Moussa Diaby opened the scoring for the Union in the 40th minute with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area.

Al-Khulood equalized through Abdulaziz Aliwa in the 73rd minute, bringing the match back to square one.

In extra time, Al-Ittihad took the lead again through Steven Bergwijn in the 96th minute, before Adam Berry equalized for Al-Khulood in the 111th minute.

The excitement continued until the penalty shootout, which favored Al-Khulood after a long series of decisive shots.

The union reached this stage after defeating Al-Shabab of Saudi Arabia, while Al-Khulood qualified after overcoming Al-Khaleej of Saudi Arabia.

With this victory, Al-Khulood sets a date in the final with Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, who qualified at the expense of Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia through penalty shootouts.
