The Future of Tudor at Stake After Tottenham's Consecutive Defeats
Thursday 12-03-2026
The future of Croatian coach Igor Tudor, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, is uncertain after a series of consecutive defeats the team has faced since he took over the technical leadership.

Tottenham lost to Atletico Madrid with a score of 5-2 in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, increasing the pressure on the Croatian coach. The British newspaper 'Mirror' reported that Tudor will lead the team in the upcoming match against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, hoping to secure a win and save his position.

The newspaper warned that continued defeats and failing to win against Liverpool could directly lead to Tudor's dismissal from coaching the team, amid the worst series of defeats in the club's history.

Tottenham currently occupies the sixteenth place in the English Premier League standings with 29 points, just one point ahead of the relegation zone. With nine matches remaining in the season, the team still has a chance to rectify its position and avoid relegation for the first time in 49 years.
