Thursday 12-03-2026
The technical staff of Al-Ahli Club has revealed the features of the foreign players' list in preparation for the anticipated match against Al-Qadisiyah in the Saudi Roshan League.

The German coach Matthias Jaissle called up all the available foreign players in the team, totaling ten players, to join the match camp.

The list saw the absence of Turkish defender Merih Demiral, who was decided not to be included among the available options for this match.

The list included Edouard Mendy, Roger Ibanez, Dams, Franck Kessié, Atangana, Enzo Mew, Riyad Mahrez, Galeno, Gonçalves, and Ivan Toney.

According to the Saudi Roshan League regulations, the coaching staff will have to exclude two foreign players on match day, as the rules allow only eight professional players to participate on the field.

Journalist Walid Saeed mentioned on his account on the "X" platform that the current list includes all the professionals except Demiral, with the final names to be decided before the start of the match.

Al-Ahly is preparing to face Al-Qadsiah on Friday evening at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, as part of the 26th round of the league.

Al-Ahly holds the second place in the Roshan League standings with 62 points, trailing by two points behind the leading Al-Nassr, while Al-Qadisiyah is in fourth place with 57 points.
