A Surprise Decision by Jesus: Al-Nassr Star Returns to Under-21 Team to Regain Form
Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, the manager of Al-Nassr Club, has made a new decision regarding the training program for midfielder Sami Al-Najei in the upcoming period.
The Al-Nassr coach decided to give the player the opportunity to participate with the under-21 team in order to gain more playing time and gradually regain his technical form.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" reported that Jesus reached an agreement with Brazilian Marcelo Salazar, the coach of the under-21 team, to give Al-Najai the opportunity to participate in the Joy Elite League.
This decision aims to help the player regain match sensitivity by being primarily involved with the youth team in the upcoming phase.
Jesus also requested that Al-Najai continue with the under-21 team temporarily, with plans for him to rejoin the first team training after the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
The newspaper clarified that the player will be among the substitutes in the match against Al-Najma scheduled for this evening as part of the eighteenth round of the Joy Elite League.
Najai will be present in this match alongside several players such as Awad Amanah, Rakan Al-Ghamdi, Abdul Malik Al-Jaber, and the Iraqi Haider Abdul Karim.
Al-Nassr currently leads the Saudi Pro League standings with 64 points, two points ahead of Al-Ahli in second place.
